The Seattle Seahawks released cornerback Trevon Diggs on Friday, per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
According to Gregg Bell of 93.3 KJR, the Seahawks released Diggs to free up space on their 53-man roster in order for guard Anthony Bradford to come off injured reserve and suit up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.
Seattle will likely seek to bring back Diggs on its practice squad, per Bell.

The 28-year-old has appeared in three games for the Seahawks this season.
Diggs initially signed with Seattle as a free agent on Aug. 19, although he wasn't able to earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was retained on the Seahawks' practice squad instead.
On Oct. 10, Seattle signed Diggs off its practice squad ahead of a Week 5 clash with the San Francisco 49ers.
In his three regular-season appearances, he recorded one tackle. He also allowed a 91.7 passer rating when targeted in coverage, according to Pro Football Focus.
Diggs' NFL career started on a high note with the Dallas Cowboys, as he earned Pro Bowl recognition in two consecutive seasons from 2021-22. During his 2021 campaign, he racked up a league-leading 11 interceptions.
Health issues started to impact Diggs, as he suffered a torn ACL in 2023 before missing time during his 2025 season due to a concussion.
While he wasn't able to keep his 53-man roster spot as part of a deep Seahawks secondary, it appears as though he could return to the practice squad of the defending Super Bowl champions.
Seattle has opened this season with a 3-3 record.
