Tucker Kraft Clarifies Comments on Fans Booing, Says Packers Must 'Put a Better Product on Display'

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft said it was "disappointing" to hear boos at Lambeau Stadium during the team's 35-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night and suggested that staging a comeback would have been "much easier with the 70,000 people behind us rather than opposing us."

On Monday, he somewhat softened his stance on the matter.

"I'm not gonna add anymore to the booing," he told reporters. "You know, in hindsight, we were out there on the field not doing the greatest. You know, we're out there, busting our tails, trying to make every play come to life, one play at a time. That's our mindset. I understand a lot of people spent time and resources to be there at the game. Wish it would have been a better outcome. Everyone in the locker room wished it would have been a better outcome. Like I said, when I was referring in the past to disappointment, I'm talking about from the day overall, not just from the fans. Obviously, the fans are out there, and Christian [Watson] put it the best, like, this is an entertainment business. We gotta go out there and put a better product on display. So, you know, people are happier when they're heading to their cars after the game."

Folks in Green Bay aren't generally quick to rain down boos like their counterparts in markets such as Philadelphia, New York or Boston. That perhaps should have been a clue to Kraft at just how a lackluster the team has looked amidst a disappointing 1-2 start to the 2026 season.

Winning, of course, generally cures all ails. The Packers will have a chance to return to .500 on the road Sunday against an 0-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that will be without starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. It's a chance to reverse some bad vibes before a pair of home games to follow.
