Mr. Olympia 2026 Final Results, Top Videos and Predictions for 2027 Event

The 2026 Mr. Olympia brought one of the more tightly contested Open competitions we've seen in recent memory. Nick Walker rallied from last year's sixth-place finish to claim the Sandow Trophy, but several other contenders were in the mix during Saturday's finals.

Reigning champion Derek Lunsford, 2026 Arnold Classic winner Andrew Jacked, and 2024 Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda were seen as obvious threats by the end of Friday's prejudging.

Lunsford appeared to be in championship form and quite capable of claiming his third Sandow Trophy in four years. Jacked and Dauda, meanwhile, set themselves apart with sheer size.

Dauda may have even been in better form than he was during his 2024 championship run.

However, Walker's conditioning, refined physique, and terrific finals routine earned him the top spot and his biggest win as an IFBB pro.

While we might have easily seen a different result on a different night, Walker believes that he beat out all of the top contenders were in their best shape.

Dauda finished a close second, and while he certainly would have enjoyed winning his second Sandow in three years, he was happy with his finish. He noted after the competition that he learned from last year's fourth-place slide and dialed things in for Saturday.

Lunsford did not successfully defend his title, but he still had a strong routine and managed to finish in the top three. Jacked didn't appear to be quite as sharp as he was in Columbus for the Arnold Classic earlier in the year. However, he still brought an impressive blend of size and conditioning.

Tonio Burton rounded out the top five and was the final prize-money winner.

Early 2027 Prediction

Is it too early for Walker, Dauda, and the other top competitors to begin looking ahead to next year's IFBB season? Of course not, and we could see even more prize money on the line in 2027.

The Arnold Classic raised its top prize to $750,000 this year. While the Olympia did not follow suit, it may raise the payout for 2027. Regardless, Walker will be looking to become the first repeat champion since Mamdouh Elssbiay won in 2020 and 2021.

We'll probably have a better idea of who the top 2027 Olympia competitors are after the Arnold Classic, which has become the consensus No. 2 IFBB competition after the Olympia. However, it'll be a massive surprise if Walker, Dauda, Lunsford, and Jacked aren't the four favorites once again.

The prediction here is that Dauda finds an even better balance between mass and leanness for a championship frame that puts him back on top.
