Moussa Kamissoko Commits to Syracuse MCBB, Program's 2nd 5-Star Prospect in Last Decade

The Syracuse University men's basketball program has landed one of its most significant recruits in years, securing a commitment from forward Moussa Kamissoko on Friday.

According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Kamissoko informed ESPN's Paul Biancardi on Friday of his intention to play his college basketball for the Orange.

Kamissoko is rated as a 5-star prospect by 247Sports, as well as the No. 14 overall player in the class of 2027.

Per Borzello, Kamissoko is new Syracuse head coach Gerry McNamara's first 5-star recruit, and he is only the second 5-star player to commit to Syracuse over the past decade.
