Fantasy Football 2026 Rookie Sleepers Undervalued in Drafts

Some of the most sought-after targets in fantasy football were among the most prominent picks at the 2026 NFL Draft.

Prized rookie rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is often gone by the end of Round 2, while receiver Carnell Tate is typically snatched by Round 6.

The appeal is obvious with both. Given the draft capital invested in them by the Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans, respectively, they will be given every chance to succeed and could have mammoth workloads right away.

These aren't, of course, the only fantasy-relevant rookies we'll see. The reasons might be less obvious, but the following three players all have opportunities to deliver impact production at a bargain draft price.

KC Concepcion, WR, Cleveland Browns

By trade, KC Concepcion is an NFL wideout. By practice, he's more of a makes-things-happen playmaker.

Over a three-year college career split between NC State and Texas A&M, Concepcion made noise (and put up numbers) as a pass-catcher, ball-carrier and punt returner. During his preseason debut, it was more of the same, as he tallied three catches (on four targets) for 27 yards, a 14-yard touchdown run and a 31-yard punt return.

That versatility definitely helps. It gives him a chance to be more involved, for one, but it also could allow him to make an impact without being entirely dependent on this passing attack, which feels enormously helpful given the state of Cleveland's quarterback room.

He has a dynamic burst, open-field shiftiness and a knack for sniffing out the best path to a big play. He would, admittedly, be even more interesting in a more functional offense, but he'd also probably cost a lot more in a fantasy draft, then.

Caleb Douglas, WR, Miami Dolphins

Little is known and even less is proven about the revamped passing game in Miami. New quarterback Malik Willis has made six career starts in four seasons. Starting receivers Jalen Tolbert and Malik Washington have yet to clear 620 receiving yards in a season.

That, admittedly, makes any investment into this aerial attack a true blind leap of faith. That said, it also allows just about anyone to fast-track their way into a prominent role, and it sure sounds like third-round rookie Caleb Douglas is doing exactly that. He snagged a starting spot on the team's first depth chart, then promptly posted what will be one of the best catches we'll see all season.

"He's making plays left and right," veteran tight end Greg Dulcich told reporters. "It's awesome. He's showing up all over the field."

Douglas looks the part of an impact receiver. He has size, a big catch radius, physicality and an intriguing mix of quickness and speed. He had tantalizing moments in college, but it often felt like he was capable of so much more if he ever put it all together. If that's what's happening right now, he could be a real find in fantasy.

De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, San Francisco 49ers

While it has been a stock-up preseason so far for the second-round pick, De'Zhaun Stribling still offers significant sleeper appeal.

He could be hard-charging his way toward a prominent role in what should be one of the league's most potent offenses. The 49ers have other playmakers on paper, sure, but they just about all come attached to age and injury concerns. If Stribling simply looks solid, he'd at least be positioned for some by-default duties in place of an injured veteran.

But he looks like he might be a lot more than that. He's had 13 passes thrown his way this preseason and converted those chances into 11 receptions for 109 yards. He runs crisp routes, has great hands, boasts explosive speed (4.36-second 40-yard dash at the Combine) and blocks the way coach Kyle Shanahan demands his receivers to.

At this rate, it feels like Stribling has a navigable path to WR2 duties for the 49ers with if-everything-breaks-right WR1 upside.
