Dan Hurley Shares Photos Rewatching UConn's Dramatic March Madness Win vs. Duke on IG
Sports fans constantly relive old games and highlights, especially the dramatic ones that saw their teams prevail.
It turns out, so does UConn men's basketball coach Dan Hurley.
UConn's 73-72 victory over Duke to clinch a spot in the Final Four was arguably the most dramatic game of the entire NCAA men's tournament last season, and the Huskies head coach relived it and experienced some of the emotions that came with Braylon Mullins' buzzer-beater all over again:

If Hurley is going to watch old highlights and post about them online, there are far worse games to choose than the one he did.
After all, it seemed like the Blue Devils were going to cruise to an Elite Eight victory when they built a 19-point lead in the first half. However, UConn gradually cut into the deficit and gave itself a chance in the final seconds.
With Duke leading by two in those final seconds, the Huskies deflected a Cayden Boozer pass near midcourt. The ball ended up in Mullins' hands, and he launched a shot from well beyond the arc to win it.
"It just felt like the window where you've just got to let March Madness take over," Hurley told reporters at the time. "March magic."
UConn ended up defeating Illinois in the Final Four before losing to Michigan in the national championship game. It was quite the run for a program that also won back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024 and has established itself as one of the gold standards in the sport.
Hurley was the head coach for both of those titles as well, but the Duke win has to be among the most memorable of his entire tenure.
So memorable, in fact, that he is reliving the highlights during the offseason.
