Jets Trolled by NFL Coach While Defending 'Rejuvenated' Cowboys DT Quinnen Williams
At least one NFL coach is expecting Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to have a bounce-back campaign in his first full season away from the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
"The Jets will knock you down— the same thing happened to Leonard Williams— but I expect Quinnen to be better in Dallas, be rejuvenated a bit," an NFL coordinator told Fowler amid voting for ESPN's annual defensive tackle rankings.
Williams was ranked as the No. 6 defensive tackle in the league in a poll of more than 70 coaches, executives and scouts, according to Fowler.

After three straight Pro Bowl nods in New York, the 28-year-old recorded seven pressures and a sack in his first eight games with the Jets last season.
After his November trade, Williams increased those numbers to 1.5 sacks and 19 pressures in his next seven games with the Cowboys despite missing time with a concussion.
Williams said in June he feels he can continue building on that shortened stint with his new team, per DallasCowboys.com's Patrik Walker.
"I didn't have my best year when it came down to it, statistically, as a pass rusher last year. I wanna be better," Williams said in June, per Walker. "I wanna do better, and not for myself, but for this team. And I know I can be better."
As mentioned by the coordinator speaking with Fowler, Leonard Williams recorded a boost in productivity when he was traded from the Jets to the New York Giants during the 2019 season.
He went on to post a career-high 11.5 sacks in 16 games of his first full campaign with the Giants in 2020.
The Cowboys will now hope to see Quinnen Williams make a similar jump after his first full offseason outside of New York.
