Final 2026 NBA Mock Draft Drops by ESPN's Jeremy Woo for Both Rounds, Is Dybantsa or Peterson No. 1?
The start of the 2026 NBA draft is just hours away on Tuesday night, and one expert unveiled his final predictions.
ESPN's Jeremy Woo dropped his last mock draft on Tuesday, and he maintained that the Washington Wizards will use the No. 1 pick to select BYU wing AJ Dybantsa over Kansas guard Darryn Peterson.
The full top 10 from Woo's final mock draft is as follows:
- Washington Wizards: AJ Dybantsa, F, BYU
- Utah Jazz: Darryn Peterson, G, Kansas
- Memphis Grizzlies: Cameron Boozer, F, Duke
- Chicago Bulls: Caleb Wilson, F, UNC
- Los Angeles Clippers (via IND): Keaton Wagler, G, Illinois
- Brooklyn Nets: Mikel Brown Jr., G, Louisville
- Sacramento Kings: Darius Acuff Jr., G, Arkansas
- Atlanta Hawks (via NOP): Kingston Flemings, G, Houston
- Dallas Mavericks: Nate Ament, F, Tennessee
- Milwaukee Bucks, Brayden Burries, G, Arizona
B/R's Jonathan Wasserman also predicted in his final mock draft that the Wizards would select Dybantsa. Woo highlighted the 19-year-old's fit on Washington's roster after the team re-signed star point guard Trae Young on Monday.
"Dybantsa's downhill scoring and elite physical gifts are unlike any other player on the Wizards' roster," Woo stated. "Pairing Dybantsa with Young would lessen the immediate demand on the rookie to create offense in the half-court and give him a path to maximizing his ability defensively, too."
Dybantsa leads a 2026 draft class that is expected to go down as one of the best of the current era, so the Wizards will be excited to land a future star who can help end their perpetual rebuild.
