Rookie Contract Projections via Spotrac
Players drafted in the first round will sign the NBA's standard four-year rookie contract, which contains two guaranteed seasons as well as team options for the third season and fourth season.
It isn't hard to imagine Dybantsa having both options exercised in the future, as he's coming off a phenomenal freshman year at BYU.
He averaged 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 51.0 percent from the field and 33.1 percent from three-point territory. Dybantsa earned Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors as he helped lead the Cougars to a 23-12 record.
While injuries limited Peterson to 24 games as a freshman, he still made his presence felt for the Jayhawks when available.
He recorded 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game on 43.8/38.2/82.6 shooting splits during his 2025-26 campaign.
