Caitlin Clark Reveals Wish for 2026 NBA Finals After Knicks Take 2-0 Series Lead vs. Spurs
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark hopes the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs goes the distance.
"I'm kind of indifferent on who wins, but I'm just such a basketball fan that I would love to see it go to seven games just because I love it," Clark said Saturday before the Fever squared off against the New York Liberty, per Doug Feinberg of the Associated Press.
"I think it's been such a great series, and even the Spurs beating the Thunder I think was incredible, too. I'm a fan and I think even watching like you can learn so much so I try to absorb as much as I can."

The Knicks are up 2-0 after beating the Spurs 105-95 in Game 1 and 105-104 in Game 2. The series now returns to New York for Games 3 and 4 on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
Knicks fans were elated and took to the streets across the five boroughs after the Game 2 victory. Clark, who was following the game, wanted to join in on the fun.
"They're like jumping around on each other and climbing light poles. I feel like that would be an experience," she said. "I don't know if my security guy would let me do that, but I want to. I want to experience that because those Knicks fans are so passionate and crazy, I admired. It's pretty awesome."
Knicks fans are starved for a championship considering their team hasn't won one since 1973. New York also hadn't been to the NBA Finals since 1999, when the team lost in five games to the Spurs.
This time around, the Knicks have the upper hand against San Antonio. Game 3 is set for Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET in Madison Square Garden.
