WWE's Danhausen Reacts to Knicks' Game 2 Win and Fan Saying He Should Get MVP Award for NBA Finals
While most of the attention on the New York Knicks after taking a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals is on the players in the game, real fans know the true hero of this postseason run is Danhausen.
The WWE superstar acknowledged his role in the Knicks' success after their 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Finals on Friday.

Danhausen later responded to a fan suggesting he should be named NBA Finals MVP by vowing to fill the trophy with New York City pizzas.
Prior to their first playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks on April 18, Danhausen cursed the Knicks on First Take because he didn't like Stephen A. Smith's tone when they were talking.
The curse was lifted prior to Game 6 against the Hawks when a fan bought a Cameo asking Danhausen to help the team.
It's unclear exactly how to split the credit between the Knicks and Danhausen because their turnaround technically occurred before the curse was lifted since they won Games 4 and 5 against Atlanta in dominant fashion.
Regardless, though, everyone can acknowledge Danhausen should get a championship ring if the Knicks are able to finish off things off against the Spurs.
