Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Fever Beat Dream

Joseph ZuckerJun 4, 2026

The Indiana Fever are back in the win column thanks to an 83-71 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Thursday.

Naturally, the game was billed as another entry in the rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Within that context, this didn't prove to be a memorable occasion.

Clark finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and one block.

Reese posted her sixth double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. She added three assists and two blocks.

Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell wound up stealing the show. She scored a game-high 25 points on an efficient 11-of-15 shooting. Midway through the third quarter, the three-time All-Star dropped 11 points in just over two minutes of action.

With the loss, the Dream (6-3) can at least hang their hats on being tied for the WNBA's second-best record, and they're only a game behind the first-place Minnesota Lynx.

However, Atlanta's offense continues to pace behind the level it set in 2025. The team entered Thursday night ninth in offensive rating, per WNBA.com, and that position is unlikely to improve.

The struggles are particularly surprising because Reese is the only notable piece the team added in the offseason. For whatever reason, a lot of the same players who thrived in Karl Smesko's scheme aren't clicking.

Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard combined for 21 points against Indy.

When defense has been an area of concern for the Fever, playing the Dream couldn't have come at a better time.

One win doesn't mean coach Stephanie White has solved everything, and Clark can clearly be better than she was on Thursday. But building positive momentum has to start somewhere, and beating a fellow playoff contender does just that.

The Dream and Fever are both back in action Saturday. Atlanta hosts the Washington Mystics at 6 p.m., while Indiana will battle the New York Liberty at 8 p.m. later in the night.
