WWE's Danhausen Reveals Price to Keep Knicks Uncursed for NBA Finals in Video to Stephen A. Smith

WWE Superstar Danhausen laid out his demands to ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday with regard to keeping his curse against the New York Knicks lifted.

During an appearance on First Take, Danhausen called for Smith to give him his own TV show, more money and courtside seats, and he gave Smith until tip-off of Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the Knicks and San Antonio Spurs to come through:

Smith was dismissive of Danhausen's request, noting that he would not give in to blackmail.

Danhausen has been an unofficial mascot of sorts for the Knicks throughout their playoff run due to the apparent impact of his curses.

After initially cursing the Knicks to spite Smith, the Knicks fell behind 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks in their first-round playoff series. Danhausen uncursed them at that point, and the Knicks have subsequently won 11 games in a row.

New York will look to make it 12 on Wednesday night when it goes on the road to face the Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
