Lakers' LeBron James Discusses How He Remembers Custom Handshakes for Teammates in Trending Video
LeBron James says he remembers custom handshakes with former NBA teammates dating all the back to his first tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Los Angeles Lakers star was asked by Steve Nash how he remembers different handshakes around the 16:50 mark of Tuesday's MIND THE GAME podcast.
"I have no f--king idea. I have no idea... I've been doing it for so long, I don't even know, man," James answered.

James went on to provide some insight into how some of his handshakes aredeveloped.
"Some of the handshakes are, I try to learn my teammates over the course of time, like early on what they're into, what they like, things of that nature," James said.
James continued: "Like right now, my teammate Dalton Knecht. We have a handshake where we dap up and then at the end, we throw a bow and arrow, and I got that because of how well he shoots the ball."
Whether James and Knecht will remain teammates going forward is up in the air this offseason.
Knecht, who is heading into next season on an expiring contract, has been subject to trade speculation, while James has yet to commit to returning for his age-42 season.
Whether James ultimately re-signs with the Lakers will impact how many new handshakes he might have to learn should he come back for a 24th NBA season.
