Seahawks Troll 49ers' Substation Conspiracy, Patriots Super Bowl Loss, More Teams with Perfume Memes
In anticipation of the 2026 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks trolled some of their opponents with ticket promos disguised as perfume memes on Wednesday night.
The Seahawks will open the 2026 campaign when they host the New England Patriots on Sept. 9. It will serve as a rematch of last season's Super Bowl LX, which the Seahawks won by a 29-13 score.
In anticipation of that game, the Seahawks posted a photo of a perfume bottle featuring the Patriots' logo and the phrase, "Whiff LX 60," referencing New England's defeat:

The Seahawks also poked fun at a divisional rival in the San Francisco 49ers with a mock perfume called "Substation."
After the Niners suffered through multiple significant injuries last season, a conspiracy theory emerged that an electrical substation located near the team's training facility may have been to blame, although 49ers general manager John Lynch told reporters it was a "big nothing burger."
In other perfume memes, the Seahawks poked fun at the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants, while also acknowledging their roots as a former AFC West team since they are facing the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders this coming season:
The Seahawks don't figure to have much of an issue selling tickets to Lumen Field in 2026 given that they are coming off their second Super Bowl win in franchise history.
Although the Super Bowl MVP in running back Kenneth Walker signed with the Chiefs in free agency, most of the team's other major contributors will be back in the fold in 2026, including quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and cornerback Devon Witherspoon.
