Now that most NFL teams generally know what they and the competition will look like in 2026, we have a chance to look at some best- and worst-case scenarios.
In this case, let's go around the league with a half-full glass.

Miami Dolphins: "Green Bay South" is a success as Malik Willis proves his productivity in a small sample with the Packers wasn't a fluke, and Miami makes a surprise run to the playoffs to set the table for a competitive 2027.
New England Patriots: A young and talented team completes a trade for veteran star A.J. Brown and takes another step forward with a second Super Bowl run in a row.
New York Jets: A young offensive line and overall core makes tremendous progress as the team unites in Aaron Glenn's second season, but Geno Smith bombs and they lose enough games to select their next franchise quarterback early in the 2027 draft.

Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow finally has a completely healthy season and the four-headed offensive monster delivers throughout a division-winning campaign as the Bengals return to the Super Bowl contender picture.
Cleveland Browns: One of the three quarterbacks in the mix to start grabs the job by the horns and the Browns make a surprise playoff run with said quarterback, an exciting new coaching staff and the best defensive player in the sport.
Pittsburgh Steelers: A strong young offensive line enables Aaron Rodgers to put together a shockingly awesome final season as the Steelers finally win a playoff game for the first time since 2016.
