Keon Coleman Says Last Season Was 'Ass,' Bills WR Talks 'Make or Break' 2026 Campaign
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was rather blunt when assessing how he felt about his 2025 campaign.
"A--, I mean getting benched four games or some s--- like that. Unacceptable," Coleman told reporters Tuesday. "It ended off on a decent note and got a touchdown so that was—I wouldn't even call that a confidence boost that's just a positive thing to end the season on, but we lost.
"So, that's another negative to erase that but I mean I don't need self motivation, I know what I'm here to do and know what I'm capable of doing."

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He finished his second year in the league with 38 catches for 404 yards and four touchdowns, which was not the type of production the Bills envisioned when they selected him with the No. 33 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft.
He was also a healthy scratch multiple times and was a nonfactor for extended stretches even though he did catch a touchdown in a playoff game against the Denver Broncos.
With that as the backdrop, Coleman knows he is facing plenty of pressure in 2026.
"For me, it's make or break," he told reporters. "If you s---, you might not be here, simple as that. I know what I'm capable of. So, if I fall anything short of that, I'm doing myself a disservice and my team."
The lack of production given his draft status would dial up the pressure on its own, but Coleman was also in the headlines this offseason. As Kevin Patra of NFL.com detailed, team owner Terry Pegula blamed fired coach Sean McDermott for the Coleman draft pick when defending general manager Brandon Beane.
Perhaps that can serve as motivation for the Florida State product, who could be part of a crowded competition to be the team's No. 2 wide receiver alongside Joshua Palmer, Khalil Shakir and Mecole Hardman Jr.
The Bills acquired DJ Moore this offseason, but the attention he draws figures to create some openings for Coleman and others.
If he can take advantage of those, he could thrive in the "make or break" season.
