WWE Superstar of the Week for August 8
The build to SummerSlam has been a slow one. We are just over two weeks from the event and still only know of three matches, according to WWE.com.
With a four-hour card, WWE is going to have a lot of time to fill, which means a lot of Superstars will be given the chance to show off on the second-largest pay-per-view of the year.
Several men and women have been making great strides recently. Before we get to the Superstar of the Week, let's look at some people who have been doing well in their own right.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Honorable Mention: All the Divas
The Divas revolution had the possibility of being a total flop, but it appears that WWE is taking this seriously. The nine women chosen to participate have stepped up in a big way over the past few weeks.
You can't just throw all the credit at Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Paige, The Bella Army, Naomi and Tamina have also contributed to the quality of the matches.
To see the women being taken seriously for the first time in years gives hope that this isn't a temporary push. If these nine women continue to perform like they have been, their future is bright.
Now the question becomes which new Diva will be the first to win the Divas Championship. They all have the tools to be great champions, but it seems like Charlotte is being groomed as a big star.
WWE wants an unstoppable force like Ronda Rousey on its roster, and the daughter of the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair might be the most qualified for the job.
Honorable Mention: The New Day
Even as heels, there is something about The New Day that makes you want to watch them. They may not always win, but you always remember them, and that is what matters.
Xavier Woods has found the perfect role as the trash-talking hype man for the group. He makes you want to punch him, but at the same time, you want to hear what he is going to say.
Big E and Kofi Kingston have done most of the heavy lifting in the tag team matches, and the two of them have formed a great chemistry with each other.
They're easily the most entertaining act in the division right now, and with time, they will certainly find themselves holding the tag titles again.
Superstar of the Week for August 8: Neville
Neville was handed a big opportunity on Raw when he was given a shot at the WWE Championship. Even if he was never going to be booked to win the title, he was able to show everyone that he is capable of performing in big-match situations.
Seth Rollins is someone who is capable of just about anything, which makes him the perfect person to test someone with Neville's brand of fast-paced offense.
Neville might not be the greatest on the mic yet, but with time, he could be. The crowd loves his exciting style, and depending on how he comes out of his feud with Stardust, we could see him pursuing a midcard title before the end of the year.
When he was called up from NXT, he wasn't given any hype. He debuted out of nowhere the night after WrestleMania 31, but the crowd immediately took to him because he is capable of great things.
Rollins and Neville stole the show Monday, and hopefully Neville continues to mix it up with top stars on a regular basis. He is up to the task.
What do you think? Was Neville the Superstar of the Week? If not him, then who? Thanks for reading, and follow me on Twitter @BR_Doctor.
