Daniel Jeremiah Ranks All 32 NFL Draft Classes Based on Teams' Pick Values

Mike ChiariMay 8, 2026

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah named the Indianapolis Colts as the team that added the most value above expectation in the 2026 NFL draft.

In a post Friday on X, Jeremiah shared a ranking of how all 32 NFL teams fared in terms of how much value they were expected to add relative to where they picked, and the Colts led the way with a points over expected points percentage of 174.2:

The Colts were followed by the Washington Commanders, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns to round out the top five. In all, 19 teams had more points than expected points based on Jeremiah's model.

Jeremiah's model is based on his top-150 prospect rankings for the 2026 NFL draft. If a player is ranked first overall on his list, then the team that selected him would receive 150 points, whereas the player rated 150th overall would be worth one point.

Also, the first overall pick in the draft is worth 150 expected points, while No. 150 overall is worth one expected point.

By those metrics, the Colts dominated the 2026 NFL draft, and they did so without even having a first-round pick.

Indy dealt that selection to the New York Jets as part of the trade for cornerback Sauce Gardner, but Jeremiah still had the Colts as the best draft performer.

Some of the Colts' top selections included Georgia linebacker C.J. Allen at No. 53 overall, LSU safety A.J. Haulcy at No. 78 overall and Kentucky guard Jalen Farmer at No. 113 overall.

However, the one pick most responsible for the Colts earning the No. 1 spot was the selection of Oklahoma wide receiver Deion Burks at No. 254 overall in the seventh round.

Jeremiah had Burks as his 70th-ranked player, giving the Colts 184 points above expectation for that one pick, which was the biggest added value in the draft, per Jeremiah:

The Commanders' selections of linebacker Sonny Styles and wide receiver Antonio Williams played well in Jeremiah's rankings, as did the Raiders taking quarterback Fernando Mendoza, defensive back Treydon Stukes and pass-rusher Keyron Crawford, the Chiefs landing cornerback Mansoor Delane, defensive lineman Peter Woods and pass-rusher R Mason Thomas, and the Browns securing offensive tackle Spencer Fano, wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, and safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers were widely panned for their draft performances, and that is reflected in Jeremiah's rankings as well.

Jacksonville earned just 52.1 percent of its expected draft points, while the Niners were last on the list at 50.6 percent.
