Wemby Injured, Blazers Beat Spurs in Game 2 as NBA Fans React to Scoot Henderson's 31-Point Game
The San Antonio Spurs lost Victor Wembanyama for the remainder of Game 2 in the second quarter on Tuesday night due to a concussion, putting them at a major disadvantage against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Scoot Henderson made sure the Blazers didn't let the opportunity pass them by, putting up 31 points in Portland's 106-103 win that evened the Western Conference first-round matchup.

It was a balanced affair for the Spurs without Wemby, as five players scoring double-digit points, led by Stephon Castle (18 points, eight rebounds, five assists) and D'Aaron Fox (17 points).
But Henderson was too good, and NBA fans and pundits alike praised him for the huge performance:
This wasn't quite a must-win game for the Blazers, but it was certainly important—going down 2-0 in the series would have left them with quite the wall to scale. Beating the Spurs four times in six games is a tough task.
Instead, it's Portland that has now seized home-court advantage, at least temporarily. And Wemby's timeline for return is unclear after his concussion, potentially leaving the Spurs without their best player as the series heads to the Northwest.
Certainly, the balance of the series shifted on Tuesday night. Bring on Friday's Game 3.
