Cam Ward's Injury Rehab, Timeline Updated by Titans GM After QB Avoided Shoulder Surgery
Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward could be cleared to participate in the team's June minicamp amid his recovery from a shoulder injury.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi commented on Ward's status, saying, "He's been out there. I'm sure you've seen the videos of him throwing. He looks good."
Borgonzi noted that Ward began throwing in mid-March, and he is "trending toward" throwing when Titans minicamp begins, per ESPN's Turron Davenport.

Players Who Could Move After Draft 🛫
Ward sprained the AC joint in his throwing shoulder during the Titans' Week 18 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. While the injury knocked him out for the remainder of the contest, it did not require surgery.
The Titans selected Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft out of Miami, and although they went just 3-14 last season, Ward showed some flashes of brilliance during his rookie campaign.
Ward started all 17 games as a rookie, completing 59.8 percent of his passes for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions, while also rushing for 159 yards and two scores.
The 23-year-old signal-caller faced no shortage of adversity, as head coach Brian Callahan was fired just six games into the season.
He was replaced by Mike McCoy on an interim basis, and now Robert Saleh is the new full-time head coach, marking Ward's third different head coach in just two NFL seasons.
While that could make for a difficult adjustment, Ward may benefit from the arrival of head coach Brian Daboll, who was the New York Giants' head coach from 2022 to 2025.
Daboll was also the Buffalo Bills' offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021, playing a significant role in the development of superstar quarterback Josh Allen.
Getting on the field for minicamp could be key for Ward in terms of getting acclimated to a new offense and setting himself up for success in 2026.
