No. 1 Flory Bidunga, No. 16 Jackson Shelstad Reportedly Commit to Same School in Transfer Portal
Former Kansas forward Flory Bidunga and Oregon guard Jackson Shelstad are transferring to Louisville, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
The pair sit first and 16th, respectively, in 247Sports' portal rankings.
Bidunga averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks as a sophomore with the Jayhawks. He was the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Year.

Shelstad was the Ducks' leader in assists (4.9) while scoring 15.6 points per game.
Landing one of Bidunga or Shelstad would've been big for Louisville. Getting both is a coup.
In the case of Bidunga, this would seemingly point to him staying in college as well. He's in the 2026 NBA draft pool for now, but lining up a transfer to the Cardinals represents a concrete step toward making a final decision.
Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman listed Bidunga as one of the prospects whose draft stock was sliding, and he's not even included in B/R's newest mock.
Beyond the uncertainty around how he's being evaluated by NBA personnel, the 6'10" forward might be able to earn more through NIL than he would from a standard pro contract.
Louisville doesn't have the same kind of assurances with guard Mikel Brown Jr., who declared for the draft and is No. 8 in Wasserman's mock. For all intents and purposes, he's gone.
Coach Pat Kelsey is set to lose his top four scorers between Brown and seniors Ryan Conwell, J'Vonne Hadley and Isaac McKneely. Sananda Fru, who was fifth on the team in points, has also entered the portal.
That's a lot of talent and production to replace, and it's worth noting that Bidunga and Shelstad are the only two outside additions so far. Kelsey and his staff still have a lot of work ahead.
Securing commitments from two big transfers at least makes it easier to believe that more will be on the way for the Cardinals.
