Kentucky's Mark Pope Hosts Top CBB Transfer Portal Target Zoom Diallo at Keeneland Racetrack

Kentucky men's basketball head coach Mark Pope hosted Washington guard Zoom Diallo at Keeneland racetrack on Friday.

Diallo, who is entering his junior season, averaged 15.7 points on 48.9 percent shooting, 4.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game last year. He is ranked 25th overall on 247Sports' transfer portal rankings.

Pope has led Kentucky for two seasons after taking over for long-time head coach John Calipari, who left for Arkansas. The Wildcats went 22-14 (10-8 SEC) last year and reached the Round of 32.

UK needs some backcourt help with senior guards Otega Oweh (18.6 PPG) and Denzel Aberdeen's (13.5 PPG) collegiate careers now over. Diallo can certainly be the answer, and Pope clearly wants him aboard.
