Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd Among WNBA Stars to Land New Contracts amid Free Agency Frenzy
Multiple WNBA stars signed new contracts in free agency on Friday.
According to ESPN's Alexa Philippou, Arike Ogunbowale signed a multi-year contract worth seven figures to return to the Dallas Wings.
Ogunbowale took less than the $1.4 million supermax deal she was eligible for in order to help the Wings build their roster, via Philippou.

Jewell Loyd also finalized a new three-year contract with the Las Vegas Aces, per ESPN's Andraya Carter. Her deal is worth $2.2-plus million, per Kareem Copeland.
Loyd previously spent the 2025 season with the Aces after playing for the Seattle Storm throughout the first 10 years of her career.
The six-time All-Star operated as a key piece throughout Las Vegas' championship run in 2025, averaging 11.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 38.9/38.2/83.1 shooting splits.
Loyd also shot 41.3 percent from three-point territory in the playoffs for the Aces.
Las Vegas has already been active in free agency, previously bringing back Jackie Young on a one-year deal worth $1.19 million. Four-time MVP A'ja Wilson is also looking to return to the Aces as a free agent.
As for Ogunbowale, she's coming off a 2025 campaign in which she averaged 15.5 points and 4.1 assists to go along with 1.3 steals per game.
While the four-time All-Star shot a career-low 36.4 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from behind the arc, it's worth noting that she missed time in the second half of the season due to right knee tendinitis.
As the Wings look to improve upon their 10-34 finish in 2025, they'll be retaining their impressive backcourt of Ogunbowale and Paige Bueckers.
