Browns 2026 NFL Schedule Released for Shedeur Sanders, Myles Garrett, Monken's 1st Year
The Cleveland Browns are entering a new era under Todd Monken, and they hope the new head coach will be the one who turns things around.
The offseason has seen trade speculation surrounding Myles Garrett as well as questions about who will be the starting quarterback. The rumors around Garrett have at least cooled off, but there are still some things to figure out.
Ahead of Monken's first season at the helm, the Browns released their schedule for the 2026 campaign.

Analysis
While the Browns improved slightly in 2025, they're still far from being a playoff-caliber team.
To get to that level, the first question they'll need to answer is at the quarterback position. Cleveland currently has Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel on its roster and has been rumored to be seeking another QB.
Watson is the veteran of the group, but it's hard to gauge how well he'll perform after missing a year and a half of action. Sanders finished the season as the starter after playing slightly better than Gabriel, so he might have the leg up heading into training camp.
If the Browns can get their offense in decent shape, they could be a surprise candidate to make the playoffs since their defense, led by Garrett, was solid last year.
Pivotal Matchups
The AFC North was a relatively weak division last year, with the Pittsburgh Steelers taking the crown at 10-7.
The division will look pretty different this year with the addition of three new head coaches, but it still likely won't be the hardest division to win in the NFL. The Browns will have to win a few of their AFC North games to even be in the mix for the title, though.
Cleveland's schedule is somewhat forgiving, but games against beatable opponents like the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants and others will be the deciding factor of whether the Browns can make the playoffs.
