Michigan absolutely trounced Arizona in the Final Four on Saturday, 91-73, led by Aday Mara's huge evening (26 points, nine rebounds, two blocks) and Trey McKenney's 16 points off the bench.

Koa Peat (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Brayden Burries (13 points, six rebounds) led the Wildcats, as usual, but it wasn't enough against Michigan.
The Wolverines dominated in all facets. They played fantastic team basketball (22 assists) compared to Arizona (five assists, 14 turnovers), shot lights out (48 percent from the field, 44 percent from three) and never trailed, jumping out to an early 10-1 lead.
Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan's best player, suffered an injury during the first half, only played 14 minutes... and the Wolverines didn't miss a beat. It was just that sort of night.
Michigan was a 1-seed for a reason, but nobody expected them to dominate Arizona—a fellow top seed—so comprehensively:
So now Dusty May and his Wolverines will face Dan Hurley's UConn Huskies on Monday night, with a national championship on the line. Hurley is no stranger to this stage—UConn won back-to-back titles in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons—but Michigan is going to be favored after Arizona provided them with about as much resistance as a rec-league team.
