AJ Dybantsa, Cam Boozer, Darius Acuff Jr. Headline 2026 MCBB Award Winners

The NCAA announced its men's college basketball awards for the 2025-26 season on Saturday.

Duke's Cam Boozer highlighted the list as the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year winner:

He was joined by AJ Dybantsa, who was the Small Forward of the Year, Darius Acuff (Point Guard of the Year), Keaton Wagler (Small Forward of the Year) and Zuby Ejiofor (Center of the Year):

Boozer averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game for Duke this past season, shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three. He's widely regarding as a potential top-three pick in the upcoming NBA draft.

Dybantsa might just be the top overall selection after averaging 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game for BYU this season. If he improves his three-point shooting (33.1 percent), the sky is the absolute limit.

Acuff has worked his way into the top-five pick conversation, averaging 23.5 points and 6.4 assists while shooting an impressive 44 percent from three. He was brilliant in the NCAA tournament, averaging 29.3 points and 5.3 assists, though it wasn't enough to get past Arizona in the Sweet 16.

Boozer, Dybantsa and Acuff, all freshmen, are all finalists for the Naismith Award.

Wagler is the fourth freshman of the bunch and has helped lead Illinois to the Final Four, averaging 17.9 points, five rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from three.

Finally, Ejiofor—the lone senior of the bunch—averaged 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game for St. John's this season.
