Elliot Cadeau Rejoins Michigan After Being Hospitalized for Allergic Reaction Ahead of Final Four
Michigan point guard Elliot Cadeau had a scare ahead of the team's trip to Indianapolis for the Final Four, but he is back with his team ahead of the weekend.
Cadeau was hospitalized on Wednesday after an exposure to nuts.
"I just ate something I was allergic to," Cadeau said on Thursday, according to Aaron Beard of the Associated Press.

The guard said he was "fine" and also further explained the situation.
"I just had a little bit of hives so that's why I went to the hospital, just to prevent anything further from happening," Cadeau said, per Beard.
A spokesperson for the Wolverines confirmed to Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press on Wednesday that Cadeau had an apparent allergic reaction to something he ate, but doctors who evaluated him determined that "he is fine."
A junior who spent the first two years of his college career at UNC, Cadeau started all 38 of his appearances for Michigan this season and is averaging 10.2 points and 5.8 assists per game. He had eight points and 10 assists in Sunday's dominant 95-62 win over Tennessee in the Elite Eight to help the Wolverines reach the Final Four for the first time since 2018, where they will face fellow No. 1 seed Arizona on Saturday for the chance to play in Monday's national championship game.
While Cadeau's impact may seem modest on the stat sheet, Michigan head coach Dusty May made it clear that the floor general is the key to the Wolverines' success on the court.
"He's a wizard," May said of Cadeau after Sunday's win, per Andy Backstrom of Yahoo Sports. "I mean, to see what he was doing, he was turning down open shots. He was turning down layups to get everybody involved. And that really becomes contagious when you have someone that's shot the ball as well as he has this year. He doesn't care if he shoots. He supports his teammates. He thinks for all of us at times, and just very, very grateful because there's no way we're in this situation if Elliot wasn't here with us."
Michigan will need Cadeau to be at full strength against an Arizona team that held its opponents to under 70 points in three out of four NCAA Tournament games. Both teams will be motivated to make it to the national championship game, so Saturday's matchup is sure to bring some excitement as the two No. 1 seeds battle it out.
