Led by Kevin Durant's efficient performance, the Houston Rockets cruised to a 111-94 win over the New York Knicks at the Toyota Center on Tuesday.
Durant scored a game-high 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting, connecting on four of his seven attempts from three-point territory. He also racked up eight assists, six rebounds and two blocks.

Jalen Brunson finished with 12 points and eight assists for the Knicks, but shot just 5-of-14 from the field.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough for New York to emerge victorious.

Houston set the tone early in Tuesday's contest, opening the game with a 14-1 lead.
The Rockets continued to thrive offensively in the first quarter, outscoring the Knicks 37-21 in the period.
New York started the second quarter on a 7-0 run and later cut the deficit to just four points, but Houston quickly pushed its lead back to double digits.
The Rockets entered halftime with a 63-50 advantage.
The Knicks pulled to within eight points as just over eight minutes remained in the third quarter before Houston immediately responded with an 8-0 run to gain more separation once again.
New York trailed by double digits throughout the rest of the game, while the Rockets led by as many as 21 points.
Houston won with a balanced scoring effort, as all five starters finished with at least 13 points.
Reed Sheppard also chipped in with 20 points off the bench, shooting 8-of-12 on field goals and 4-of-7 on threes.
The Rockets recorded 53.8/42.9/75.0 shooting splits as a team, amassing 35 assists compared to 10 turnovers.
Houston improved to 46-29 with the win, sitting in a tie with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference standings.
