Tom Brady, Bad Bunny and More Celeb Surprises to Watch For at WWE WrestleMania 42

Erik BeastonMar 31, 2026

Celebrity appearances are part of the foundation of WWE's WrestleMania, dating back to its inception in 1985, when Cyndi Lauper, Billy Martin, Liberace, Muhammad Ali, and Mr. T were key to promoting the first extravaganza.

Fast forward 41 years later and the prospect of celebrity appearances remain a selling point of the Showcase of the Immortals and, while the fields from which they come from may differ, WrestleMania 42 figures to have its fair share of fame and fortune in the stands or, even, in the squared circle itself.

Based on his rich history with WWE, Bad Bunny is one celebrity who may appear. Who else could show up? Find out in this preview of the massive spectacular.

IShowSpeed

Monday Night RAW

IShowSpeed inadvertently influenced the outcome of Monday's World Tag Team Championship Match and now, finds himself in position for a WrestleMania match, whether he wants it or not.

Late in the Raw bout, the YouTuber accidentally knocked out LA Knight with Logan Paul's trademark brass knuckles. That eliminated the Megastar from the picture and allowed Paul to flatten Jimmy Uso with the weapon. Austin Theory made the pin and three seconds later, The Vision collected tag team gold.

From there, IShowSpeed reluctantly celebrated with Paul and Theory and now, appears poised to team with them to battle The Usos and Knight on the grand stage.

Speed has competed in a WWE ring before, most notably at the 2025 Royal Rumble, where he was speared into oblivious by Bron Breakker. Ironically enough, it would be the Badass' stablemates in The Vision whom he would be partnering with should the clear creative direction pay off in the form of that six-man tag team match announcement.

Jelly Roll

SmackDown

Jelly Roll is not back on WWE television just to wrestle a one-off match against Kit Wilson and eat an RKO from Randy Orton.

The musician has a history of competing on big shows, dating back to last August's SummerSlam, where he partnered with Orton in a losing effort against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

An avid fan of the industry, who has earned rave reviews from his peers and trainers alike for the respect he has shown the business, he is back on WWE TV, at this time of year, because the company has something planned for him at WrestleMania.

At first, it appeared as though a tag team match pitting him and a partner against Wilson and The Miz might be on the agenda.

While that could still be the case, and that partner could be Danhausen based on recent creative direction, the recent RKO from The Viper may indicate that Jelly Roll will be involved in some form or fashion in the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Orton and Cody Rhodes.

Regardless, Jelly Roll will almost certainly appear in Allegiant Stadium, at WestleMania, in a starring role. His star power demands it, as does the effort he has put into his performances since last summer.

Bad Bunny

WWE Backlash With Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny is the most streamed artist in the world and the star of this year's Apple Super Bowl Halftime Show. He is also a former WWE Superstar, having competed at WrestleMania in 2021, where he teamed with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison, and at Backlash in 2023, where he famously defeated Priest in a Street Fight.

WrestleVotes reported for Fightful Select that, "WWE had been in contact with representatives for Bad Bunny well in advance of the Super Bowl, gauging his interest and availability for WrestleMania. It is unclear where things ultimately stand at this time, but conversations were positive."

They added, "One WWE source noted the company would "absolutely" welcome Bad Bunny at WrestleMania, even if it's just for an appearance and not a match."

There has been no indication that the pop culture phenomenon will appear on or at the biggest event of the year, but if he does, it would be the sort of surprise that WWE lives for at this point. The company loves touting celebrities that attend its events, and there are few bigger, more recognizable, and beloved than this year's Grammy winner.

Whether Priest is involved in the show, which he has not yet been announced for, may determine just how Bad Bunny would make his presence felt as the two have been linked in the WWE Universe since day one.

Tom Brady

The greatest quarterback in NFL history, Tom Brady, recently made headlines when he referred to WWE as "cute" and showed a lack of respect for its Superstars.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that WWE and Brady are in negotiations for a WrestleMania appearance, but noted that there is definitely not a done deal.

He added that Brady's comments, and his interactions with Logan Paul over them, have all been storyline.

Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and a "strategic advisor" to the team's front office, so it would make sense to utilize his star power at an event occurring in that team's home stadium. He is also one of the most recognizable athletes in the world so having him appear in any form or fashion at the show would garner attention.

While nothing of Brady's involvement has bled over onto TV to suggest he will definitely be appearing, keep an eye on the front row, especially during whatever Paul ends up doing on the card.
