WWE Icon The Rock to Receive Disney's Legends Award, Danhausen Responds with Hall of Fame Proposal

WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was informed of a significant honor by Disney on Monday, prompting a response by one of WWE's newest Superstars in Danhausen.

The Rock took to social media to divulge that Disney informed him he will be a recipient of the prestigious Disney Legends Award in August:

Johnson has starred in several high-profile Disney movies over the years, including Moana, Jungle Cruise, Zootopia 2, The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain, making him a natural fit for the honor.

In response to the news, Danhausen replied with a post of his own on X, offering to induct The Rock into the Disney Hall of Fame if The Rock agrees to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame:

Danhausen made his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber in February, and it hasn't taken long for him to endear himself to the WWE Universe.

It started during his first backstage segment when he read Raw general manager Adam Pearce a list of demands, including immediate induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Given that Danhausen hasn't even wrestled his first WWE match yet, his request may have been a bit premature.

The Rock himself hasn't even been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame yet, and he is among the most popular and accomplished Superstars in the history of the company.

Danhausen will likely have to settle for watching the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony from the crowd next month in Las Vegas, as AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, Sid and Bad News Brown are enshrined.
