Odell Beckham Jr. Pursuit Discussed by Giants' John Harbaugh Amid Reunion Rumors in NFL Free Agency
It sounds like John Harbaugh is open to a reunion with a veteran pass-catcher in his first year as head coach of the New York Giants.
While speaking to reporters at the annual league meeting in Phoenix on Monday, Harbaugh declared that the Giants will "pursue" free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. if they determine that he can help them in 2026. Harbaugh coached Beckham with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, and the 33-year-old spent the first five seasons of his career with the Giants from 2014 to 2018.
"If Odell is an option, we'll be looking at it," Harbaugh told reporters.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Beckham went unsigned for the entire 2025 season, and he received a six-game suspension in October for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. He last played for the Miami Dolphins in 2024 and produced nine catches for 55 yards and no touchdowns across nine games.
While it's been a while since Beckham impressed on an NFL field, he had a strong showing in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic last weekend with 10 catches for 68 yards and three touchdowns, including a signature one-handed grab that was the highlight of the day. His performance was so impressive that Team USA coach Jorge Cascudo declared that he could see Beckham earning a spot on the roster for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
However, The Athletic's Tim Graham and Vic Tarfur reported that Beckham "is trying to kick-start his NFL career again," so any Olympic dreams will have to wait. The three-time Pro Bowler can be a solid source of production if he stays healthy.
The Giants bolstered their passing attack this offseason by adding veteran wideout Darnell Mooney and former Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely. Star receiver Malik Nabers is working his way back from a torn ACL, so New York could use some extra depth. Adding Beckham this offseason would give him the chance to prove his worth during training camp and potentially earn a roster spot for the 2026 campaign.
