Odell Beckham Jr. 'May' Have Spot on USA Flag Football Roster After Circus Catch, Says HC
Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. isn't giving up on his NFL career, but it sounds like he could have a future in flag football.
While Team USA's flag football squad dominated a pair of teams comprised of NFL stars and celebrities at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday, Beckham was a standout performer with 10 catches for 68 yards and three touchdowns. His one-handed touchdown catch was the highlight of the day, and Team USA coach Jorge Cascudo was so impressed that he revealed he could see Beckham earning a roster spot.
"I was, like, 'Whoa, if Odell wants a spot, we may have one for him,'" Cascudo said of the circus grab, per The Athletic's Tim Graham and Vic Tarfur.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Beckham last played in an NFL game in December 2024 for the Miami Dolphins and was unsigned for the entire 2025 season. Graham and Tarfur noted that the three-time Pro Bowler "is trying to kick-start his NFL career again."
However, with flag football coming to the Olympics in the 2028 Los Angeles Games, Beckham could have the chance to compete for a gold medal if he fully commits to developing with Team USA.
The 33-year-old could have a tough choice to make if NFL teams continue to ignore him as the 2026 season approaches, as his best course could be to turn his attention to flag football.
