In the fan's defense, Mullins' buzzer-beater was certainly worth an over-the-top celebration.
After trailing by as many as 19 points in the game, UConn stormed back to make things interesting in the closing seconds. Duke turned the ball over after relentless pressure from the Huskies, and Mullins drilled a prayer from 40 feet away to send his team to the Final Four.
The fan won't be very mobile when he watches UConn take on Illinois at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday while recovering from his torn Achilles, but he will surely be cheering hard for the Huskies to advance to next Monday's national championship game.
