Michigan Beats Alabama to Reach Elite 8, What Experts and Fans Said About March Madness Win

The Michigan Wolverines moved on to the Elite Eight with a 13-point win over the Alabama Crimson Tide on Friday night.

Yaxel Lendeborg led the Wolverines with 23 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

The Wolverines became the third No. 1 seed to advance to the Elite Eight after the Duke Blue Devils and Arizona Wildcats.

Dusty May's team held the Crimson Tide to 30 percent from three-point range and outrebounded the SEC side 45-32.

Michigan will face the winner of the Tennessee-Iowa State game on Sunday for the right to go to the Final Four.
