Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Attends Texas Tech Pro Day in Photos Amid Rehab From Torn ACL Injury

Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes made a visit to his alma mater on Thursday.

Mahomes attended Texas Tech's pro day, spending time with current Red Raiders players.

The two-time MVP is currently recovering from a season-ending torn ACL, although he's reportedly on track to be ready for the start of his 2026 campaign.

Mahomes sits at No. 3 on Texas Tech's all-time passing list, a particularly impressive accomplishment considering he only spent three years with the team from 2014-16.

He's remained involved with Red Raiders athletics programs since leaving the school, making a $5 million donation for the school's South End Zone and Dustin R. Womble Football Center project in 2024.

Several Texas Tech players could hear their name called in the 2026 NFL draft, especially given the team's 12-2 finish and College Football Playoff appearance last season.

The 2026 draft will begin on April 23.
