
Patrick Mahomes Attends Texas Tech Softball's College World Series Game 2 vs. Texas
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in attendance to watch his alma mater, Texas Tech, take part in the Women's College World Series Finals against Texas on Thursday in Oklahoma City.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes spoke with ESPN's Holly Rowe about his experience. He also spoke about Texas Tech pitcher NiJaree Canady, the sport's first-ever million-dollar pitcher, who has an NIL deal with Adidas and Mahomes.

Also, before the series began, Mahomes gave the team merchandise. Softball coach Gerry Glasco called Mahomes the team's No. 1 fan.
Texas Tech is on a Cinderella run through the WCWS as a No. 12 seed. The Lady Raiders beat unseeded Ole Miss 1-0 before taking down No. 9 seed UCLA 3-1. Texas Tech then enjoyed a fantastic win against No. 2 seed Oklahoma, defeating the four-time defending champions 3-2 to advance to the championship round.
The Lady Raiders fell 2-1 to Texas, the No. 6 seed, in Game 1. However, it's a best-of-three series, giving Texas Tech a shot to even the score.
