Watch iShowSpeed React to Getting 'Cursed' by Danhausen in New Video amid WWE WrestleMania Rumors

Mike ChiariMar 26, 2026

Following his appearance on Monday night's episode of Raw, WWE reportedly may bring in social media and streaming star IShowSpeed for WrestleMania 42 next month.

According to BodySlam.net (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), WWE has internally discussed IShowSpeed having some involvement with WrestleMania in Las Vegas, as the company looks to stack the show with as much star power as possible.

On Raw, Speed was having a backstage conversation with general manager Adam Pearce when Danhausen interrupted and "cursed" the 21-year-old YouTuber:

Later, Danhausen challenged Speed to a race, noting that he would remove the curse if Speed beat him. However, Danhausen was victorious, meaning the curse is still intact:

On a recent stream, Speed reacted to his defeat at the hands of Danhausen, declaring, "I'm cursed, bro!"

Speed has made a handful of appearances for WWE over the past couple of years, starting with WrestleMania 40 when he dressed as a mascot bottle of Prime during Logan Paul's United States Championship defense.

He was also a surprise replacement for Akira Tozawa in the 2025 men's Royal Rumble match after Tozawa got attacked and was unable to compete.

Speed helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis, only to get hit with a massive spear at the hands of Breakker before getting press slammed over the top rope, creating a viral moment in the process.

Known for his athletic feats, Speed is a good fit for the world of pro wrestling, so it is no surprise that WWE continues to utilize him whenever possible.

The success of WrestleMania was built on the foundation of celebrity involvement with Mr. T as the first and most shining example, and while Speed may not have a match at WrestleMania, his involvement would benefit WWE in terms of bringing more eyes to the product.
