Jordyn Tyson Schedules Workout for Teams Ahead of 2026 NFL Draft, WR Missed Combine with Injury
After missing the NFL combine because of a hamstring injury, Arizona State star wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will get the chance to show what he can do in front of scouts.
Per ESPN's Field Yates, Tyson will work out for NFL teams on April 17 and will only do positional work.
Tyson began his career at Colorado but dealt with injuries early on, suffering a torn ACL, MCL and PCL in his freshman season.

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He recorded 470 yards and four touchdowns in his first year before transferring to Arizona State. Unfortunately, injuries limited him to just three games in his first year with the Sun Devils, but he returned in 2024 and led the team with 1,101 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
Injuries were an issue again in 2025 as he missed a handful of games with a hamstring issue, but he still finished the year with 711 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games.
Tyson is considered to be the No. 8 overall player and the No. 1 wide receiver in this year's draft class by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department. In the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report, Tyson is projected to go to the New Orleans Saints with the No. 8 pick.
Of course, Tyson's lingering hamstring issue and his injury history might be something for scouts to consider. Dane Brugler noted on The Athletic Football Show that "it's hard to understand how much to factor" Tyson's injuries heading into the draft.
He wouldn't be the first player with a rough injury history to be taken early, and he'll look to prove that he's worthy of a top pick when he works out in front of scouts next month.
