The St. John's Red Storm had zero issues in their opening-round win in the NCAA men's basketball tournament over the Northern Iowa Panthers.
The 79-53 victory over the Missouri Valley tournament champion allowed some fans to dream about the Red Storm's potential to make a deep run in the Big Dance.
Rick Pitino's team was in control from the start, as they broke out to a double-digit lead thanks to a 24-8 run to begin the contest.
St. John's was up 47-28 at halftime and kept the lead above 20 points for most of the second half.
Zuby Ejiofor produced 14 points and 11 rebounds in a starring effort.
St. John's will face either the Kansas Jayhawks or Cal Baptist Lancers in the second round on Sunday in San Diego.
