The field for the College Basketball Crown is set.
The offseason alternative to the NCAA tournament and NIT (the College Basketball Invitational was cancelled for 2026) announced its field and bracket on Monday, featuring Oklahoma, Colorado, Baylor, Minnesota, Stanford, West Virginia, Rutgers and Creighton.

Below, we'll break down all of the vital tourney information ahead of April's event.
Tournament Dates and Information
Location: Las Vegas
Quarterfinals: April 1-2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena
Semifinals: April 4 at T-Mobile Arena
Format: This year's tournament will only feature eight teams, as opposed to last year's 16. The format was predetermined to be the two best teams from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East conferences that weren't invited to the NCAA tournament, alongside two wild card selections. (Cincinnati chose to bypass the tournament).
NIL Prizes: Last year's winning team, Nebraska, claimed $300,000 to be split among its players, while runners-up Central Florida claimed $100,000 and semifinalists Villanova and Boise State took home $50,000 each.
