Brian Thomas Jr. Trade Rumors Dismissed as 'Fraudulent' by Jaguars GM Amid 2026 NFL Free Agency
Jacksonville Jaguars general manager James Gladstone discussed the trade rumors that have surrounded wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. during free agency on Thursday.
"It can be very strange," Gladstone said, per NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe. "I care more for what weight that could put on Brian himself."
"When it's fraudulent claims you just keep your mind on what you can focus on," he added.

Gladstone also revealed that the team hasn't received a trade offer and there hasn't been much dialogue on a potential swap, via Wolfe.
SNY's Connor Hughes previously reported that Jacksonville was "entertaining offers" for Thomas, changing its stance after the team wasn't willing to part ways with him at the 2025 trade deadline.
Following a stellar rookie year in which the 23-year-old racked up 1,282 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns to go along with a Pro Bowl nod, he wasn't able to make the same impact during his second season.
Thomas only caught 48 passes for 707 receiving yards in 2025, finding the end zone twice. He also finished with 10 drops in 14 games, tied for the second-most in the NFL.
While it isn't hard to imagine teams searching for more receiving help target Thomas on the trade market, the Jaguars don't seem to be actively looking to move him.
