Brock Lesnar WrestleMania Plans
1 of 3
Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite reported that Brock Lesnar's planned WrestleMania 42 opponent is Oba Femi.
Paul Heyman issued an open challenge on behalf of Lesnar on the March 2 episode of Raw, claiming that a showdown with The Beast Incarnate is as important a WrestleMania match as The Undertaker's unbeaten streak used to be.
If Femi does end up being the choice, one would assume he would accept the challenge in some grand segment during one of Lesnar's upcoming appearances on WWE Raw.
It would be a banner moment for the star and one that immediately catapults him to the top-tier of talent on the red brand. It would also create questions about the purpose of the open challenge if Femi does not beat Lesnar.
After all, does The Conqueror really need another WrestleMania victory at this point, especially when Femi is the star of the future on the come up?
Regardless of what the outcome eventually is, it will be an enormous spot for the NXT export, one that could and likely will help to define his career in WWE.
What Will Tiffany Stratton Do at WrestleMania?
2 of 3
A year ago, Tiffany Stratton celebrated her meteoric rise in WWE with a high-profile WrestleMania 41, WWE Women's Championship showdown with Charlotte Flair.
It initially felt like there was no room for her in a high-profile match entering this year's event, but BodySlam+ on Patreon reported that current plans have her challenging Giulia for the Women's United States Championship.
It is another championship opportunity for Stratton, who has impressed in her limited appearances since returning at the Royal Rumble and performing inside the Elimination Chamber last month.
Unless it serves as the start of a feud that will culminate later, one would assume Stratton would get back to her winning ways with another title run and significant push.
Even if it comes at the expense of the Beautiful Madness.
Update on Will Ospreay
3 of 3
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Will Ospreay is nearing a return to the squared circle for AEW.
"We're told that he's been working out in the ring ahead of shows, and things look very promising for him to return to form as it relates to the level he was competing at before," he wrote.
He added, "We've heard a possible spring return for Ospreay, and there's obviously a hope that he'll factor into the AEW All In London show in a big way."
The Aerial Assassin is a massive star for the promotion, and competing in London, in front of fans, friends, and family at the biggest show on AEW's calendar is a logical goal for both sides.
When he does return, a jam-packed main event scene awaits. MJF is the reigning world champion, Hangman Page is his top contender, Swerve Strickland recently completed a heel turn, and Kenny Omega has pushed toward the top prize in the company of late.
Ospreay adds another big name to one of the best top-of-the-cards in the business whenever he returns.
Ospreay underwent neck surgery last September.
