SEC Tournament 2026 Schedule, Bracketology Predictions for Men's Conference Tourney

Joe TanseyMar 6, 2026

The Florida Gators' already checked off one major accomplishment in their quest to repeat as national champion.

Florida clinched the No. 1 seed in the SEC tournament with its regular-season title.

Florida will be joined by three other teams in the top four in Nashville. Those teams earn double byes into the quarterfinals.

The Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks and Tennessee Volunteers reside in the top four going into Saturday's regular-season finales. All three teams will be favored to win and clinch top four spots.

Saturday's drama comes down to the Nos 5-8 seeds. Six teams are within one game of each other at either 10-7 or 9-8 in league play.

Texas A&M v Arkansas

No. 1 Florida

No. 2 Alabama

No. 3 Arkansas

No. 4 Tennessee

No. 5 Texas A&M

No. 6 Missouri

No. 7 Vanderbilt

No. 8 Kentucky

No. 9 Georgia

No. 10 Texas

No. 11 Auburn

No. 12 Oklahoma

No. 13 Mississippi State

No. 14 Ole Miss

No. 15 South Carolina

No. 16 LSU

Three of the top four seeds will be determined on Saturday.

Alabama and Arkansas are both expected to win at home, and in turn, clinch the Nos. 2 and 3 seeds.

If Tennessee beats Vanderbilt, it will earn the fourth double bye into the quarterfinals in Nashville.

Vanderbilt and Missouri, who plays Arkansas on Saturday, are part of a four-team group at 10-7. Kentucky faces Florida in its regular-season finale.

All three of those teams could lose and open up room for Texas A&M to hop all the way up to the No. 5 seed. The Aggies play last-placed LSU on Saturday.

Kentucky has the benefit of playing Florida at home, so there is a chance that the Wildcats finish in the top six of the league standings.

The Nos. 5-8 seeds enter the tournament on Thursday. They would have to win four straight games in Nashville to win the league's automatic bid.

The likelihood is high for a top-four seed to claim the SEC tournament title. That's important for the bubble teams looking to get into the NCAA tournament. The SEC tournament final is on Sunday, so it's unlikely there will be a change in the field of 68 on Selection Sunday.
