A.J. Brown, Alec Pierce's Top NFL Landing Spots After DJ Moore's Reported Trade to Bills
The Buffalo Bills addressed their need for a No. 1 wide receiver on Thursday, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that they're finalizing a deal to acquire D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears.
The move presumably takes the Bills out of the running for some of the other top wideouts available this offseason, such as Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown and Indianapolis Colts impending free agent Alec Pierce.
Let's take a look at some of the top landing spots remaining for Brown and Pierce now that the Bills are off the board.
A.J. Brown

Brown won't have the luxury of being a free agent this offseason, but he's viewed as one of the top trade candidates available.
Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the Bills "checked in with the Eagles" about trading for Brown before Thursday's deal for Moore. McLane added that the Eagles are "inclined" to only negotiate with AFC teams and named the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens as "the most likely potential partners."
Brown has familiarity with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel from their time together with the Tennessee Titans. New England made a surprising run to Super Bowl LX this past season and could use a player like Brown to help achieve the ultimate goal of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
The Ravens are entering a new era under first-year head coach Jesse Minter, who is now tasked with bringing the best out of two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. Adding Brown would certainly make life easier for the star quarterback as the Ravens chase a Super Bowl title.
However, it won't be easy to pry Brown away from the Eagles, as Schefter reported during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday that he feels it will take a first-round draft pick to convince Philadelphia to deal him away.
Still, Brown's unhappiness with the Eagles was clear throughout last season, so it could be just a matter of time before a team sends the right offer to Philadelphia to acquire him.
Alec Pierce

Pierce is one of the best deep-threat receivers in the league, so he should have a strong market in free agency.
The 25-year-old told Kay Adams on Up & Adams that he would prefer to land with a franchise that has quarterback stability and a winning culture.
The Patriots and Ravens presumably would also be in the running for Pierce, as they wouldn't have to give up assets for him in a trade like they would with Brown.
Other AFC contenders like the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans could look to add Pierce to their deep receiving corps.
In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers have long needed a No. 1 receiver for star quarterback Jordan Love, as they haven't had a 1,000-yard receiver since Davante Adams in 2021. The San Francisco 49ers also have an opening after it was announced that they're parting ways with Brandon Aiyuk this offseason.
Wherever he lands, it's clear that Pierce is set to cash in this offseason with a major payday following his tenure with the Colts.
