Watch Arkansas QB Taylen Green Break Anthony Richardson Record on Video at 2026 NFL Combine

Saturday at the NFL scouting combine is turning into a showcase for Arkansas football, with Taylen Green setting multiple quarterback records as part of his workout.

Green had a vertical jump of 43.5 inches that broke the previous mark by a quarterback set by Anthony Richardson in 2023.

He followed that up by clocking an unofficial 4.37-second 40-yard dash. If that time holds, it will be the second-fastest by a quarterback in combine history after Texas A&M's Reggie McNeal in 2006 (4.35 seconds).

Green's 11.2-inch broad jump also broke the record set by Richardson three years ago. Richardson's broad jump was 10 feet, 9 inches and his vertical jump was 40.5 inches.

The historic showing by Green came after his Arkansas teammate, Mike Washington Jr., posted the fastest 40 time, second-best broad and second-best vertical jump during the running back workouts.

B/R's NFL scouting department has Green ranked as the ninth-best quarterback and No. 164 overall player in the 2026 draft class. He is looking to become the first Razorbacks quarterback drafted into the league since Brandon Allen in 2016.

Green threw for 2,714 yards, ran for 777 yards and accounted for 27 touchdowns in 12 games for Arkansas last season.
