Arkansas RB Mike Washington Jr. Has Emotional Reaction in NFL Combine Video After 4.33 40-Yard Dash

Arkansas running back Mike Washington Jr. was overcome with emotion after his 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine on Saturday.

Washington was seen shielding his face as he appeared to be crying after clocking an unofficial time of 4.33 seconds in the 40.

Given what we know about how the combine can alter a player's draft stock, Washington had good reason for this reaction. He posted the fastest 40 time of any running back in Indianapolis.

On top of that, Washington also had the second-best vertical and broad jump in his position group.

B/R's NFL scouting department had Washington ranked as the No. 5 running back in this draft class coming out of the Senior Bowl. The 22-year-old could be moving up that list when the updated rankings come out.
