Randy Orton Wants to RKO Tom Brady After NFL Icon Dissed WWE as 'Cute' in Trending Video

CM Punk, Paul Heyman and Drew McIntyre are among the others inside WWE who got a bit rankled by Brady's remarks:
Brady and Paul aren't exactly being subtle about how this is all a big show, and they're both playing their parts to draw more attention to the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21.
Whether in kayfabe or not, implying that pro wrestling isn't "real" will always generate a reaction from seasoned veterans.
Any wrestler will point out that the action in the ring might be scripted, but the physical punishment they experience is all too real. One mistimed move can result in a serious or even career-threatening injury.
Orton, for example, underwent spinal fusion surgery in 2022 to alleviate back pain so severe that he couldn't stand up for extended periods of time. He was out of action for more than a year while recovering.
Brady was presumably goading Paul when he called WWE "cute," no different from how a wrestler will run down an opponent in an in-ring promo. But there are undoubtedly still people who refuse to acknowledge the true nature of the wrestling business.
