Cooper Kupp Shares DM of Jarran Reed Recruiting WR to Seahawks, Hypes Super Bowl 60 Win
Last offseason, Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed helped recruit Cooper Kupp to join his team in free agency.
After winning a Super Bowl in his first year with the Seahawks, Kupp shared the direct message he received from Reed last March. In the message, Reed said Seattle was "building something special over here." It turns out he was right.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Kupp spent the first eight years of his career with the Los Angeles Rams, but was released last offseason after the team failed to find a trade for the veteran receiver.
Kupp opted to join Seattle, giving him the chance to play near his hometown of Yakima, Washington, and a key role in an exciting offense with Sam Darnold under center. He signed with the Seahawks on a three-year, $45 million deal.
He also managed to get his revenge win over the Rams, as Seattle beat them in the NFC Championship en route to the Super Bowl.
Kupp, a former triple-crown winner and NFL Offensive Player of the Year, didn't play as big a role in Seattle as he did in Los Angeles, but he served as a solid second option alongside star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Kupp finished the 2025 campaign with 593 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 47 receptions. Smith-Njigba was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year after collecting 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The pair of receivers helped lead a Seattle offense that ranked eighth in yards per game (351.4) and third in points per game (28.4) during the regular season. After a 14-3 regular season, the Seahawks won their first Super Bowl since 2013.
While Kupp won Super Bowl MVP in 2021 when the Rams won it all, getting the chance to lead his hometown team to glory perhaps makes this year's win even more special.
"It wasn't smooth, it wasn't perfect, it wasn't sunshine and rainbows . . . I don't know that I've got the words," Kupp told reporters after the Super Bowl. "It's an unbelievable story. There were some really tough times this year for my family and I."
