
Jon Scheyer Says Duke Staffers Were 'Punched in the Face' After UNC Fans Stormed Court
Duke men's basketball head coach Jon Scheyer said that multiple Blue Devil staff members were punched in the face after UNC fans stormed their home court following a 71-68 victory over the arch-rival Blue Devils on Saturday evening.
UNC fans initially stormed the court after guard Seth Trimble hit a game-winning three-pointer to put the Tar Heels up 71-68.

Time ran out on the clock, but upon review, officials put four-tenths of a second back up. After Duke's desperation full-court inbounds play was unsuccessful, UNC fans stormed the court again when time ran out for good.
Video has also emerged of a court-stormer throwing a water bottle at the Duke team as well.
UNC trailed 18-5 early in the game and 49-38 in the second half, but the Tar Heels stormed back late thanks to a trio of three-pointers from Derek Dixon, Henri Veesaar and then Trimble.
Caleb Wilson led UNC with 23 points. Cameron Boozer paced Duke with 24 points and 11 boards.
Duke co-leads the ACC at 10-1 (21-2 overall) with Clemson. UNC improved to 7-3 in conference and 19-4 overall.
The two teams will play again on Saturday, March 7 when Duke hosts UNC.
